Every fresh dyeing of Pumpkin Patch feels like walking into an actual pumpkin patch: warm orange skins catching the low autumn light, with the deep brown of Bran running through like turned earth. I've paired the two together here so the whole kit has that same cosy, harvest time feel from the moment you cast on.
Pumpkin Patch is one of my assigned pooling colourways, dyed with a repeating contrast section that triggers a little knitted pumpkin as you work. This is a directional yarn, so make sure you're knitting from the correct end of the skein to keep your pumpkins facing the right way. As with all my assigned pooling yarns, the exact ratio of orange to brown will vary a little from skein to skein, so no two Scatterlight Shawls will ever come out quite the same. That's half the fun.
