From time to time, unspun fibre finds its way into the dye pots at Auridon Yarns. This collection is the result of those moments.

These fibres are dyed in small, irregular batches, often without a fixed recipe. Colours are mixed intuitively and allowed to develop naturally, which means exact repeats are not possible. Each braid or bundle is a unique creation. Once it is gone, it is gone.

Because these fibres are unspun, they offer complete freedom. They can be spun fine or thick, woollen or worsted, felted, blended, or left expressive and raw. The colour is worked into the fibre with the intention that it will remain interesting through spinning or felting, but the final outcome is shaped just as much by your hands and technique as by the dyeing process.
