Starry Night Advent Calendar
Twelve hand-dyed mini skeins, one for every door, inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night. I'm keeping the colourways somewhat of a surprise until you open them, so you won't find an exact picture of a single mini on this page. What I can show you for now are some colour impressions and the three solid colours you can add to your calendar.
What's in the calendar?
- 12 mini skeins of 20 g each, hand-dyed in assigned pooling colourways. Every mini has its own main colour and its own contrast section.
- Individually wrapped and numbered.
- Your choice of base: Deluxe Merino Sock, Gold Sparkle or Silver Sparkle.
- Limited, dyed by hand in small batches in Haarlem.
- €89.95 per calendar.
Nothing is shown before you open it. All I can tell you is that the colours came from the famous painting made by Vincent Van Gogh.
Add a matching solid skein
Three solid colours, chosen to contrast with every mini in the calendar, so the calendar and the skeins work together in one project.
Saint-Rémy Midnight
A deep midnight blue.
Dark Flame
A cypress green.
Alpilles Blue
A teal.
All three solids are Deluxe Merino Sock: 85% superwash extrafine merino, 15% nylon, approximately 400 m (437 yards) per 100 g skein. Colours on screen can look a little different from the yarn.
