Yakrino is a hand dyed blend of 52% Tibetan yak and 48% extrafine merino. The yak provides warmth, depth and a subtle halo, while the merino keeps the yarn soft and comfortable to work with. A balanced yarn that feels luxurious without being delicate.

This is a non superwash yarn. It blooms after washing, holds warmth exceptionally well, and creates a fabric with beautiful stitch definition and natural drape. Best suited for projects that benefit from warmth without bulk.

Each skein weighs 50 g and has approximately 375 m (410 yards). Ideal for shawls, scarves, lightweight garments and layered accessories.
