This hand-dyed assigned pooling yarn pairs a dark, dusty purple background with contrast sections in neon fuchsia, orange and yellow.
This is an assigned pooling yarn: the contrast sections are dyed to trigger a specific stitch and form a motif as you knit, without any colourwork or stranding. The pattern adapts to this skein's own dye ratio, so it works with any assigned pooling stitch you choose to pair it with.
Fiber content
51% Tibetan yak, 49% extrafine merino (non-superwash)
This yarn is woollen-spun, giving it an airy halo and warmth, along with a rustic, textured hand rather than a sleek or smooth one. Being non-superwash, it has some natural tooth straight off the skein, and blooms and softens further with washing, blocking, and wear.
