Two weeks ago I took my first steps into the world of entrepreneurship. So much has happened since then! From figuring out taxes (thankfully with the help of a dear friend who is an accountant) to learning the basic principles of marketing and puzzling over purchasing and supply for the webshop. What will be the colours of the logo? What feeling do I want to convey? What is actually the purpose of the webshop? After figuring out all these things, I mainly know that I don't know that much yet . An intensive, but incredibly educational period.
But what was the most fun? Dyeing wool of course! Trying out new techniques, playing with colour combinations and creatively problem solving during the process – it’s exactly why I started doing this. The magic of dyes mixing on the fibres, experimenting with patterns and effects… it feels like pure alchemy.
Now we are waiting for the final formalities, and then we can really get started. Until then, I am enjoying the anticipation to the fullest. I hope you enjoy it too! The photos already give a foretaste of what is to come.
